Eric Wooley — a Vietnam veteran and former truck driver — founded Wooley Water Sewer Trenchless in 1978 in Pickerington, Ohio. Coming from a family of business owners, Eric saw an opportunity to build something of his own and create a future for his family through hard work and hands-on service. He started the business focused on water and sewer line work, serving local homeowners and building a reputation on reliability, honesty, and doing the job right the first time.
In 1992, after graduating from drafting school, Eric's son Heath Wooley joined the family business. For 30+ years Heath has personally performed sewer and water-line repair, trenchless installation, and jobsite operations across the Columbus metro. Today he leads the company — applying modern trenchless technology while keeping the values the business was founded on.
The company headquartered at its current Carroll, OH facility in Fairfield County. That location has been the operational base through every generation of equipment: from the hand-snake era of the late 1970s, through the early hydro-jetting fleet in the 1990s, through the current in-house CIPP pipe lining and pipe bursting capabilities added in the 2010s–2020s.
Vietnam veteran. Former truck driver. Founded Wooley Water Sewer Trenchless in 1978. Family-run-business operator for 47+ years. Originating trade experience in residential and commercial water and sewer line work across Central Ohio.
Son of founder Eric Wooley. Joined the business in 1992 after drafting school. 30+ years of hands-on field experience across sewer and water-line repair, trenchless installation, hydro jetting, and jobsite operations throughout the Columbus metro — including extensive work in Bexley's historic housing stock, Westerville's Uptown clay-tile belt, and Gahanna's 1970s–80s cast iron neighbourhoods.
Wooley's field crew — approximately 10 technicians — is cross-trained on CIPP installation (ASTM F1216), pipe bursting (ASTM F1962), hydro jetting at 3,000–4,000 PSI, and NASSCO PACP video inspection. Crew member names, certifications, and years of service are being captured during current onboarding and will be added to this page as they are confirmed.

We believe sewer and water-line work should be done with precision, honesty, and the least amount of disruption possible. Every job is based on real inspection, clear communication, and doing the work right the first time — finished with a camera-verified close-out the homeowner can keep on file.
Trenchless methods are not a luxury. In Central Ohio's aged housing stock — with its century-old clay-tile belts, mid-century Orangeburg subdivisions, and 1970s cast iron neighbourhoods — trenchless repair is the cost-effective, property-preserving standard. Wooley Water Sewer Trenchless was built around that standard.
Every credential above can be verified through the issuing authority. The Better Business Bureau maintains our Central Ohio profile; NASSCO publishes the PACP / LACP certification standard and its member roster; Perma-Liner and Pow-R Mole both maintain public installer directories. The City of Columbus, City of Bexley, and City of Upper Arlington each publish their own contractor licence lookups.
